Xangety xang xang

Maybe it's just my tendency to keep from staying in the same place, but I'll be doing all my blogging back at www.xanga.com/lolagrape from now on. Read it. Or don't. I don't care. But I'm not a big fan of the new blogger dashboard.

Jesse Palmer (a.k.a Giants quarterback a.k.a the most recent Bachelor) just announced that he and the girl he choose split. No surprise to me. If there's anything that I have learned from this show it's this:
1> He'll always pick the girl with bigger boobs.
2> If the woman picks the man, they stay together.

As a twenty-four-year-old with no immediate intent upon marriage, this still scares me more that a little. Mostly because if those are my options--big boobs or becoming more agressive--I'm so screwed.

I wish I could send everyone that irritated me to another continent.
But then a lot of things that strengthen my character would be gone.
But it's tempting.

Remember the cartoon Captian Planet? Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Heart. Heart--love--was considered by these eco-maniacs to be among the most basic of elements that creates the earth. Trippy hippy talk or good thinking?

Every time I've gone to a bar lately**, someone has brought up a conversation about God. I think that's kind of odd, but I go with it. I let them say what they want to say, no matter if I agree or not. I just listen. Most of the time, it comes up why they believe in God but hate the way that Christians judge them. Or that they hate that the church is so fractured and can't work together. For them the idea of hell invokes less fear in them than the judgment they feel, the self-doubt, the feeling like they're not good enough to be there, the pain that other people have put them through. Hell, for them, is other people. Christian people. And it's no wonder then that they would rather hang out in a bar.

**NOTE TO CONCERNED RELATIVES/FRIENDS: I don't drink and drive. I don't binge. I don't even usually have more than one drink. Just had to be clear about that.

Glucose
You are glucose. People feed off of you. You are
sweet, caring, and a source of energy for
everyone around you. You can inspire others
with your creativity and depth, and you can
keep people alive when in times of famine.
People love you...or at least the way you
taste.

Know what I love?

1. Noticing 7 1/2 hours into a workday that while I'm wearing a tanktop, I haven't shaved in FOREVER.

2. All the friendly people on Dickson St. I scurry from errand to errand, and all the while all the nice guys whistle or yell things at me. I guess that's just some sort of Fayetteville greeting. Like calling the hogs.

3. Not be knowing where all my money is going. Best be time that I take up ho'ing.

Have a laugh on Gary's ex's little brother. I did.

Today while waiting to mail some ebay items, I stood in line for 40 minutes. It was okay, though, because some supercute kiddos were in front of me. The littlest one was about three and mischivous. They were with their grandmother (?), who kept saying "now if you don't behave, we're not going to go to the antique store!" WHAT KIND OF REWARD IS THAT??? I know that I don't have any kids, but seriously, come on. Ice cream. Park. Anything that doesn't have a lot of valuable breakable items. That's where a kid wants to be.
